Stages by Semester
These guidelines and considerations are based on the best available public health data at this time, best practices currently employed, and the practical realities of managing operations; as new data and trends emerge, this guidance will be updated. Implementation of these stages as part of a phased reopening will depend on local conditions including epidemiologic trends (such as new COVID-19 case and hospitalization rates consistently stable or decreasing over at least 14 days), availability of resources, and adequate preparedness and public health capacity to respond to case and outbreak investigations.
Full Vaccination Requirement: Employees, students, and volunteers accessing any District site will be required to show proof of full vaccination.
We intend to open all SRJC campuses and sites to provide in-person services based on the schedule outlined below (with the exception of district holidays). This timeline will allow us to adjust to being back on-site over the summer and will help us support the many students who have found online learning and remote support especially challenging.
- May 30 through June 12- Open Tuesdays & Wednesdays
- June 13 through July 24- Open Monday through Wednesday
- July 25 through July 31- Open Monday through Thursday
- August 1 and beyond- Open Monday through Friday
Full Vaccination Requirement: Employees, students, and volunteers accessing any District site will be required to show proof of full vaccination. See Vaccination requirement here.
